The Clinical Trials Unit ( CTU ) was established in 1999 with the aim of providing a one stop center for conducting quality clinical trials. Although clinical trials has been conducted in the School since the mid 1980’s, there was a need to provide an integrated infrastructure which will enhance the performance of clinical trials. The presence of such facility will help propel USM as a center of excellence in the performance international trials particular in early phase trials and in outcome studies.
