Congratulation Dr. Hossein Analuie Adegani Teimour

 

Congratulation to Dr. Hossein Analuie Adegani Teimour who had successfully defended his PhD viva thesis entitled 'The Neural Correlates as Predictors of Mental Toughness in University Team Game Athletes during Virtual Penalty Shots'.

The external examiner during the viva was  Prof Asok Kumar Ghosh from Ramakrisna Mission Vivekanda University, India while the internal examiners were Prof Zamzuri Dept Neurosciences PPSP USM & Assoc Prof Oleksandr Krasilshchukov Sport Sciences Programme PPSK.

Dr. Hossein's research was mainly supervised by Assoc Prof. Muzaimi Mustapha from Dept of Neurosciences  while Dr.Mohammed Faruque Reza (PPSP Dept Neurosc) and Dr.Soumendra Saha (Sport Sciences PPSK) were the co-supervisors..

The viva date was on 16 Aug 2017 and the session as chaired by Prof Rozita Hassan (PPSG).

We are pleased to inform that Department of Neurosciences, School of Medical Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Health Campus will be organizing the “EEG/ERP Recording& Analysis Workshop” with the theme “Furthering knowledge in brain waves". For your information, the “EEG/ERP Recording & Analysis Workshop” is designed for researchers with beginner or/and intermediate experience in EEG/ERP recordings, processing analysis.

In this program, participants will be exposed to data recordings, processing, and analysis. As a result of this program, participants will increase their theoretical understanding of EEG/ERP and their brain waves data analysis skills.
